I have known Ian coming up to 11 years, which seems longer written down than it actually feels. In the time I have trained in his gym ‘Future Bodies’ I’ve gone from being a novice (where bodybuilding and weight training are concerned) to I wouldn’t say expert but certainly educated, where health and the importance of looking after your body is concerned. As well as gaining a good friend over the years and almost brother figure. I have someone I can turn to when in need of motivation, encouragement and positiveness not just in my fitness and diet regime but also in my life as a whole. I strongly believe that’s what friends are there for, someone to turn to for however large or small the need is or for whatever the reason.

In my time of knowing Ian I have trained in his gym, worked in his gym and competed proudly representing his gym. I’ve gone through weeks and weeks of preparation for competitions with the help, support and guidance from Ian, praises and the occasional slap on the wrist. It seems to me his hunger for knowledge on the sport gets greater and greater and even more so the desire to use and pass on this knowledge to his members to keep then progressing more efficiently. This, I have a lot to be thankful for because without this I certainly wouldn’t have seen myself achieve the trophies for figure competition I’ve achieved.

I have watched Ian, his family and his gym go from strength to strength. Even after months sometimes of not seeing Ian I am always pleasantly surprised at the progression of Future Bodies and everyone who remains loyal to it. I’ve never known anyone who has so much passion for any one thing as I feel and know Ian has for bodybuilding and helping people achieve their goals of looking and feeling better through working out.

Thank you for everything, your gym plays a bigger part in my life than you get credit for. Keep going Mich X
